What's New At Dogwood

Thanks for visiting the Dogwood Homes website. If you are visiting our website you must be considering a new home purchase and we appreciate your consideration. As we move into Spring, we have the best selection of homes and lots that we have had in years. We are very excited about our current communities and are confident that we offer the best home and lot value in the Louisville market. Click on the “Quick Move in Homes” link to see our current inventory of Spec Homes. Below is an update by community:

     Jefferson County: We have our main office located at 11218 Professional Park Drive, near Fern Creek. We have homes being built in Glen Lakes, Stone Lakes, Catalpa Farms, Bardstown Woods, and Tuscany Ridge. Stone Lakes is just off the Gene Snyder at Taylorsville Rd, just south of Jeffersontown. These all brick homes range from the mid 200’s to the upper 300’s. We are down to 5 remaining lots, so act fast.  Glen Lakes is located near Middletown at Shelbyville Road and Flatrock Road. We have all brick homes in the low to upper 300’s. These homes and lots are selling fast with only 5 remaining homes and lots. Catalpa Farms is a new community that is part of Shakes Run, which is located near Middletown off of Eastwood Fisherville Road. Catalpa Farms will share the Shakes Run pool and clubhouse until the Catalpa Farms amenity package is in place. We are building out an 11 lot cul-de-sac of homes with prices from the 320’s to 380’s. Our homes all have a unique style with Hardie Board exteriors with stone accents. Each home backs up to a wooded conservation area or pond. All 11 homes are under construction now, act quick where you can pick your own interior finishes. Bardstown Woods is located just off of the Gene Snyder Freeway on Old Bardstown Rd south of Fern Creek. This community offers all brick homes from the low 200’s to 300’s. We are also now selling Tuscany Ridge at Bardstown Woods. This community will offer our Tuscany style of homes that features beaded vinyl siding and stone accents, with prices starting in the 190’s to the mid 200’s. Bardstown Woods and Tuscany Ridge are located just minutes from the new 21st Century Park entrance.    

     Mt Washington: We have several great communities to choose from whether you are a first time homebuyer or are looking for your final home. Mt Washington qualifies for ZERO down Rural Housing loans in many of the communities. We have homes being built in Twin Eagles, Stone Meadows, Autumn Glen, Bogard Woods, and River Crest. Twin Eagles West is located on the east side of town, near Bullitt East High School. We have a great assortment of home plans from the 160’s to 200’s. This community is very convenient to Bardstown Road and the Gene Snyder Freeway. Our final section of homes and lots are selling quickly. We are just starting to pre-sale Stone Meadows. Stone Meadows is right behind Wilchar Subdivision, being convenient to Hwy 44 and Bardstown Road. Stone Meadows has a great selection of lots that will surely sell out very quick. The homes range from $161,950 to the low 200’s. We also have Autumn Glen that offers all brick homes from the 180’s to low 300’s. Our current selection of lots offer some of the largest and most desirable lots that we have had in the community. Autumn Glen offers a community clubhouse, swimming pool, stocked lake, and gazebo, all with a low HOA fee of $250 per year. Our sales center is located in the clubhouse at 193 Amber Court. We also have a decorated model home that is located at the River Crest entrance, at 755 Bogard Lane. River Crest is a new premier community, for Bullitt County, that will eventually have amenities not offered in many communities. Homearama 2016 was hosted in the Central Park section. We primarily build in the Highland Ridge and Twin Falls sections, offering all brick homes from the mid 200’s to upper 300’s.

     Shepherdsville: We have a master planned community with 4 different divisions, with 4 different home products, and 4 different price points. We have homes being built in Mallard Lake, Mallard Pointe, The Villas, and The Boulders. Shepherdsville is located right off of I-65 at exit 117, being just minutes south of downtown Louisville, offering a new Wal-Mart Supercenter. Shepherdsville qualifies for ZERO down Rural Housing loans. The community has 4 different lakes with water separating the different divisions. There is a lakeside community park with a pavilion and playground, plus we have a new swimming pool and pool house that will open in 2017. The HOA and swimming pool fee combined are only be $250 per year. Residents enjoy fishing in the community park and many of our new lots are lakefront lots, where you can fish from your own backyard. Mallard Lake offers all brick homes from the 180’s to low 300’s. We have new sections going in now with a nice selection of new lot inventory. Mallard Pointe offers homes from the 150’s to low 200’s, with a new culdesac street now selling with some lakefront lots. The Boulders offers Tuscany style homes from the 160’s to low 200’s. The Villas section offers patio homes starting in the 140’s for 2 bedroom units with two car garages and the 160’s for 3 bedroom units with two car garages. Stop by our decorated model home today at the main entrance, at 153 Mallard Lake Blvd.

     North Bullitt: We now have two great communities located off of Christman Lane at Zoneton Road. We have homes being built in Oakwood and Round Rock at Oakwood. Oakwood features all brick homes from the 170’s to upper 200’s. We will be adding a signature entrance in 2017 on Christman Lane that incorporates in a log home built in 1803. Round Rock is also located off of Christman Lane and features our Tuscany style of homes with prices ranging from the 160’s to mid 200’s. We have just started selling our first section, so there is a great selection of lots to choose from. 

      Shelby County: We have two communities that are conveniently located near the Kroger and just minutes from the new Outlet Mall. We have homes being built in Summersfield Place and Highlands at Summersfield. Summersfield Place features our Tuscany Series of homes from the 160’s to low 200’s and Highlands at Summersfield features homes from the 150’s to low 200’s. Shelby County qualifies for ZERO down Rural Housing loans.

      On Your Lot Homes: We also have just added a full line up of homes to be built on your lot, to replace our custom home division. We found that many customers start out wanting to design and build a custom home but quickly get overwhelmed with the process and the cost, so we have taken a group of our most popular designs and have created a base cost and then have upgrade sheets where the customers can add most any feature they want. This allows you to start with a base cost and control the overall price by choosing your own upgrades and features. These homes can be built in most communities in the 5 county area.

      Now is a perfect time to purchase a new home. We have opened many new sections of lots that will give you the opportunity to pick the perfect home site, pick your plan, and then make your selections. Dogwood Homes is currently offering $1,700 towards closings costs and if you choose our preferred lender, FBC Mortgage Company, they are also offering $1,700 in closing cost, for a total of $3,400 in closing cost available.
