Thanks for visiting the Dogwood Homes website. I am excited to update you on some important Dogwood Homes news. We are pleased to announce that Fischer Homes is purchasing the majority of our land assets effective January 1, 2018.
Privately held Fischer Homes based in Erlanger, Kentucky is the 38th largest builder in the US. We believe that this is the right fit for Dogwood, and for you our customer. Fischer Homes is well known for its customer satisfaction, focus on design, and for expertise in building communities that stand the test of time.
I will begin working for Fischer homes as the Market President for the Louisville Division effective January 1st. Fischer Homes will be completing the construction management services for Dogwood Homes beginning on January 1, 2018 for any Dogwood homes still under construction, and will also perform warranty services in accordance with any existing agreements with Dogwood Homes. Rest assured the existing Dogwood Homes team is staying in place, just with the additional support of the resources of Fischer Homes. The construction of the homes and the warranty will not be affected in any way.
If you are visiting our website you must be considering a new home purchase and I thank you for your consideration and guarantee to you that our conversion to the Fischer family in January will not disrupt our current customers or any new contracts between now and then. Jefferson County: We have our main office located at 11218 Professional Park Drive, near Fern Creek and we have a Sales Center located between Bardstown Woods and Tuscany Ridge, at 11056 Kaufman Farm Drive. We have homes being built in Stone Lakes, Catalpa Farms, Bardstown Woods, and Tuscany Ridge. Stone Lakes is just off the Gene Snyder at Taylorsville Rd, just south of Jeffersontown. These all brick homes range from the mid 200’s to the upper 300’s. We are down to 5 remaining lots, so act fast. Catalpa Farms is a new community that is part of Shakes Run, which is located near Middletown off of Eastwood Fisherville Road. Catalpa Farms will share the Shakes Run pool and clubhouse until the Catalpa Farms amenity package is in place. We are building out an 11 lot cul-de-sac of homes with prices from the 320’s to 380’s. Our homes all have a unique style with Hardie Board exteriors with stone accents. Each home backs up to a wooded conservation area or pond. All 11 homes are under construction now and can be complete in 30 to 60 days. Bardstown Woods is located just off of the Gene Snyder Freeway on Old Bardstown Rd south of Fern Creek. This community offers homes from the mid 200’s to 300’s. We are now selling the final section of 19 lots. Many of these lots back up to wooded areas and offers culdesac lots. We are also now selling Tuscany Ridge at Bardstown Woods. This community has Tuscany style of homes that features beaded vinyl siding and stone accents, with prices starting in the 190’s to the mid 200’s. We have 5 homes near completion, starting at $199,950. Bardstown Woods and Tuscany Ridge are located just minutes from the new 21st Century Park entrance, visit the Sales Center today.
Mt Washington: We have several great communities to choose from whether you are a first-time homebuyer or are looking for your final home. Mt Washington qualifies for ZERO down Rural Housing loans in many of the communities. We have homes being built in Stone Meadows, Autumn Glen, Bogard Woods, and River Crest. Stone Meadows. Stone Meadows is right behind Wilchar Subdivision, being convenient to Hwy 44 and Bardstown Road. Stone Meadows has a great selection of lots that is selling out very quickly. The homes range from $161,950 to the low 200’s. We have some beautiful basement lots that back up to treed areas. The Stone Meadows Sales Center is located at 111 Garnette Court. We also have Autumn Glen that offers all brick homes from the 180’s to low 300’s. Autumn Glen offers a community clubhouse, swimming pool, stocked lake, and gazebo, all with a low HOA fee of $250 per year. Our sales center is located in the clubhouse at 193 Amber Court. We also have a decorated model home that is located at the River Crest entrance, at 755 Bogard Lane. River Crest is a new premier community, for Bullitt County, that will eventually have amenities not offered in many communities. Homearama 2016 was hosted in the Central Park section. We primarily build in the Highland Ridge and Twin Falls sections, offering homes from the mid 200’s to upper 300’s.
Shepherdsville: We have a master planned community with 4 different divisions, with 4 different home products, and 4 different price points. We have homes being built in Mallard Lake, Mallard Pointe, The Villas, and Boulders West. Shepherdsville is located right off of I-65 at exit 117, being just minutes south of downtown Louisville, offering a new Wal-Mart Supercenter. Shepherdsville qualifies for ZERO down Rural Housing loans. The community has 4 different lakes with water separating the different divisions. There is a lakeside community park with a pavilion and playground, plus we have a new swimming pool and pool house that will open in 2018. The HOA and swimming pool fee combined are only be $250 per year. Mallard Lake offers homes from the 180’s to low 300’s. We have just open Section 6, with a nice selection of new lot inventory. Mallard Pointe offers homes from the 160’s to low 200’s, with Section 5 now open, with some lots backing up to the Conservation area and many culdesac lots. Boulders West offers Tuscany style homes from the 160’s to low 200’s. The Villas section offers patio homes starting in the 150’s for 2-bedroom units with two car garages and the 170’s for 3-bedroom units with two car garages. North Bullitt: We now have two great communities located off of Christman Lane at Zoneton Road. We have homes being built in Oakwood and Round Rock at Oakwood. Our Sales Center is located at 690 Christman Lane. Oakwood features homes from the 180’s to upper 200’s. We are adding the main entrance to the “Summers Cabin at Oakwood” section now, on Christman Lane, that incorporates in a log home built in 1803. Round Rock is also located off of Christman Lane and features our Tuscany style of homes with prices ranging from the 160’s to mid 200’s. This section is selling very fast. Come pick a lot before they are SOLD out.
Shelby County: We have two communities that are conveniently located near the Kroger and just minutes from the new Outlet Mall. We have homes being built in Summersfield Place and Highlands at Summersfield. Summersfield Place features our Tuscany Series of homes from the 160’s to low 200’s and Highlands at Summersfield features homes from the 150’s to low 200’s. Shelby County qualifies for ZERO down Rural Housing loans.
